Although standard materials are temperature rated for -20oF To 150oF (except 24" and 36" wide material rated at -10oF), we suggest low-temp materials for freezer temperatures below 20oF.

Determine Linear Footage
Note: Width and Height measurements
should be in full feet only
(i.e. 11' 2" should be 12')
Step 1: Determine the strip width and overlap percentage for the strip door.(see charts and drawings above).
Step 2: Use those numbers to find the linear footage factor on the chart above.
Step 3: Take that factor from the chart and multiply it by the strip door width (in feet). The result is the number of strips required for the strip door.
Step 4: Multiply the number of strips required by the strip door height (in feet). The result is the number of linear feet of strip material needed for the strip door.

These models are available in 6” and 8” wide PVC strip material in both Polar and Standard grades. The Polar grade is recommended for freezer applications to
-30° F. Mounting hardware and brackets are all aluminum. Each strip has a heat-sealed loop at the top which slides onto the mounting bar. This design alleviates stress at the point of contact with traffic. It also allows the strips to be rotated or replaced easily.

Double Ribbed PVC Strips have all the properties of PVC Strips but with added extra beneficial properties.
Double Ribbed PVC is extruded with a unique, raised ribbing on both sides of the sheet face which increases energy sealing effectiveness and helps prevent scratching of the sheet face thereby retaining its glass-like clarity longer.
An additional benefit of extruding ribbed material is that it provides the strip with a greatly increased strength.

Each 200mm wide clear PVC strip has been cut into six individual pieces. This
